Don’t get me wrong, they’re still very entertaining but they’re simply not as funny as the very early batch on disc one.
#TINY TOON ADVENTURES THE LOONEY BEGINNING SERIES#
If there is one thing I’d dodge points off the series for it’s that while funny from episode 1 through episode 35, it seems to lose some of its luster after the first quarter of the episodes. The pop culture references may not be enjoyed so much by the kids (whom the cartoon is targeted towards) and watching it so many years later, some of it seems dated, but the great thing about it is that regardless of all that, even if you don’t necessarily understand the reference, what’s being spoofed is continually funny and because of that the show has a certain attractiveness to both kids and adults. For those unfamiliar with the series, it’s just your basic animated cartoon, filled with laughs and several pop culture references. The series ran on afternoon’s for three seasons from 1990-1994 and thankfully, it’s just as funny and enjoyable as I remember it all those years ago. Tiny Toon Adventures Season 1 Volume 1 comes to DVD on four discs (one double-sided) and contains the first 35 episodes of the first season of the TV series (65 episodes aired during the first season, overall).
